ASG Custom Engineered Cable Solutions include consulting/engineering services. ASG application engineers work with customers to accurately assess the application and project requirements. ASG then develops a recommendation, based on our professional experience, for the most cost effective cable assembly solution – matching the right cable, connector and assembly configuration. Design/Technical Drawing/ Engineering Review, ASG can perform initial design-in support, then generates drawings which provide a complete assembly specification for customer approval.
All assemblies are constructed and tested in-house for maximum quality control and on-time delivery.
ASG uses industrial interconnect products from a variety of vendors. For severe environments we often recommend Amphenol Starline® , Starline EX® and Neptune® heavy duty power connectors, or Glenair high current high voltage connectors, all designed to meet the ATEX directive for explosion resistance, but other connectors are available upon request. Where appropriate we can provide potted cable assemblies.
